ASTM High yield strength steel plate A514 Grade K is used where a weldable, machinable, very high strength steel is required to save weight or meet ultimate strength requirements. Alloy steel plate A514 Gr K is normally used as a structural steel in building construction, cranes, or other large machines supporting high loads. Till now we can offer the maximum thickness for high strength steel plate A514 Gr.K reaching to 300 millimeters with heat treatment of quenched and tempered.

ASTM A514 Structural Steel Plate is a steel plate falling under the umbrella of Quenched and Tempered Alloy steel plates. These plates undergo the Q&T treatment under which they are heated and cooled off quickly. The minimum yield strength of 100 ksi makes ASTM A514 abrasion resistant steel plates enormously tough and use worthy.
