CCS AH40 DH40 EH40 FH40 Marine Steel Plate
Higher-strength CCS shipbuilding steel comes in 12 grades of 3
strengths, AH40 is one of the grades. The CCS AH40 grade steel
plates have yield strength of 56,500 psi (390 MPa), and ultimate
tensile strength of 74,000 - 94,500 psi (510-650 MPa).
RINA Grade EH40 Marine Steel Plate
Classification Societies(IACS),formed in 1968. The RINA fleet is
recognized by approximately 116 international flag authorities.
RINA integrated services for the complate shipping cycle including
design, building, shipyard management, inspection and testing of
materials/components and regular inspections to maintain the class
are used by freight, ferries, ro-ro, passenger ships, yachts, cruise
ships, navy, LGN and other specialist carrier vessels.

ultimate tensile strength of 440-570 MPa.
LR Grade AH40 DH40 EH40 FH40 Marine Steel Plate
It is considered a marine grade and must be able to resist corrosive
effects that are common in a water environment. To achieve this,
special alloying elements are added to these grades in order to
defend agaist corrosion.While most carbon steel is not suited for
marine environments, there are several marine grade carbon steels
that have been approved by the different societies for shipbuilding applications.
